TECHNOLOGY

What Technology Do We Use For Our Practice?

3D Cone Beam

3D CONE BEAM

The 3D Cone Beam provides Dr. Gore with a 3-dimensional image of a patient’s skull to have greater precision in placing dental implants for seamless results and diagnosing pathology (tumors, cancer, recurrent infections near the sinus’s etc.).

INTRAORAL CAMERA

The intraoral camera is a small camera placed in a patient’s mouth so images can be sent to a video monitor for both the doctor and patient to view. As The old adage goes; a picture is worth a thousand words. The images taken of your mouth helps you see what Dr. Gore sees so you can understand what he is diagnosing and why.

MLS LASER

The MLS (Multiwave Locked System) laser is used to compliment a number of dental procedures to speed up healing and reduce inflammation and soreness. It has a wavelength that helps dramatically reduce post-op pain and a different wavelength that helps create vasodilatation to increase the blood flow to the area and therefore decrease recovery time by as much as 1/3 in many cases.

Velscope

VELSCOPE

During the dental oral exam at our Scottsdale clinic, the team will thoroughly assess a patient’s mouth to determine the patient’s oral health. They will utilize state-of-the-art technology, such as digital X-rays and digital panoramic X-ray images to get a clear picture of the condition of the mouth.

Dental examinations are also used to screen for oral cancer, so if it’s detected early enough, a patient will have a much better prognosis and more treatment options. Dr. Gore uses the advanced Veloscope® oral cancer screening tool to show abnormalities that might be missed by a visual exam or even X-rays.

Cerec

CEREC

Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics or CEREC dental crowns use computer-aided design (CAD) to create a crown that fits your damaged tooth perfectly. With our Scottsdale office’s state-of-the-art facility, we use this technology to create a long-lasting, natural-looking ceramic crown for your damaged tooth.

SprintRay

SPRINTRAY

Our SprintRay 3D technology is a game changer in the world of digital technology for the dental office. We can now digitally send a scanned model of your teeth to a computer (no more gooey impressions usually) then we can “print” a model of your teeth in the office rather than sending it to a laboratory. From this model, we can also “print” night and day protective wear guards for those people who are clenchers or grinders to help protect the TMJ and reduce the destruction of teeth from this habit.

We can also print custom bleaching trays in the office from the printed models.

We can also fabricate clear aligners for orthodontic movement of teeth ( just like Invisalign) to reduce the amount of time waiting for the outside company to fabricate and send those to us thru the mail.

We will also potentially be able to print crowns soon from this technology, but that may be similar to the Cerec Cad Cam technology we already have.

The list of options is never ending as technology continues to progress…. But we have this equipment and technology in the office so whenever research and development (R&D) occurs we will be ready to take advantage already!!
